This tour of Bilbao includes an in-depth look into the charming old town, where you will discover centuries of history and learn about the local way of life, all while strolling through its narrow stone-paved streets. It is also possible to visit Bilbao’s largest market where the guide can show you all of the various produce and raw ingredients that are used in the local cuisine.

The old town section of the tour is contrasted by the adjoining Ensanche neighborhood which is the more modern part of the city. This bustling area is home to many of Bilbao’s bourgeoisie and in addition, is the business and commercial artery of the city.

A little bit further down and you will be able to take in some of the more recent modern architectural wonders that are redefining the city. The most notable of those is the Guggenheim Museum designed by famed Canadian architect, Frank Gehry. A guided visit of the museum is of course, available upon request.
