BILBAO PINTXO CRAWL

Apart from being very tasty, pintxos (Basque tapas) are actually an important part of the Basque culture – they encourage the locals to go out and socialize and are a long held tradition.

During our Bilbao pintxo crawl, you will learn what pintxos are all about and why they are much more than just food. In addition, you will receive a short historic tour of the Old Town.

Accompanied by a local foodie guide, you will be immersed in the local lifestyle and visit some of the best pintxo bars in town, sampling these delectable bites along the way. From the most traditional to the most innovative and experimental, there is something for everyone and, of course, they are always best enjoyed accompanied by a glass of local wine, cider or beer.

During the tour you will also learn about the Basque food movement which has become popular in recent years and, more importantly, experience it first hand. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Ribera market, Bilbao’s largest market, where the guide will show you all of the various produce and raw ingredients that are used in the local cuisine.

Have fun enjoying some really good food and wine while learning about the Basque culture and way of life. And do it like the locals with a local!
